Félicie Céline Boissart was better known as the actress Bianca. She debuted at a revue in Paris. She worked in Brussels where Eugénie Doche took an interest in her. After that she worked at the Vaudeville in Paris. She as successful in Théophile Gautier's "Pierrot posthume". From 1872 to 1884 she was engaged at the Comédie-Française, but she never became a sociétaire. The actresses Blanche Pierson and Réjane were her friends and she was godmother to Réjane's children. Bianca left the stage in 1888. In 1907 Paul Léautaud decided to use the name of Boissard for his journalistic writings, misspelling his godmother's name. Bianca died in Paris in 1912.
