Katharina Hassel was the daughter of the actor Friedrich Hassel (1815-1884) who was active in Prague from 1858 to 1882. She was known as Käthi ans she worked as an actress at the Neue Deutsche theater in Prague. She married the actor Konrad von Hallenstein (1835-1892) and after his retirement they settled in Baden near Vienna. She died in Baden in 1905. Her son Adolf Hassel was secretary of the Stadttheater in Baden and was buried beside her in 1933. Family • Husband: Hallenstein, Konrad Adolf (-1892) |
