Suzanne Munte was the younger sister of the actress Lina Munte. She appeared in the theatre from 1892, when she performed in Maurice Donnay's "Lysistrata". She became a very popular actress and played at the Théâtre de l'Ambigu-Comique, the Théâtre Antoine, the Théâtre de la Gaîté and the Gymnase. In 1912 she appeared in her first movie, "Le Supplice d'une mère". She only played in silent movies and her last movie was "Le Roman d'un jeune homme pauvre" (1927). She died in 1938 in Paris and she buried with her sister Lina at the Cimetière des Batignolles. Related persons is brother/sister of Munte, Lina |
