Antonie Link was the sister of the actor Adolf Link. The received her first musical edcation at a school of the Conservatory in Pest. After her family moved to Vienna she played children's roles at the Burgtheater together with her brother. She continued her singing lessons and sang in the choir of the court opera. In 1870 she started her acting career at the Burgtheater. Franz von Januer heard her and engaged her as operetta singer at the Carl-Theater in 1872. She often appeared there together with Hermine Meyerhoff. She was supported in her career by Franz von Suppé. In 1879 she married the banker Adolf Dessauer and she retired from the stage. She lived until 1931 and she died in Vienna.
