Julie sophie Löwe was the daughter of Friedrich August Leopold Löwe. The actor Johann Daniel Ludwig Löwe was her brother. From an early age she acted in her father's company. She was a member the cast of the German theatre in Saint Petersburg until 1809. After that she worked in Prague. In 1812 she came to Vienna where she performed at the Theater and der Wien before she was engaged at the Hotheater from 1813 until her voluntary retirement on 30 October 1842. She played in tragedies and comedies. The author Joseph Schreyvogel was a friend. |
