Marianne Zoff was the first wife of Bertold Brecht. They married on 3 Nov 1922 and in in 1923 they had a daughter, Hanne Marianne, later known as Hanne Hiob. In September 1928 she divorced Brecht and in the same year she married actor Theo Lingen. She was half Jewish, but in the nazi era she was protected by Lingen's popularity and the fact that Goebbels liked his acting. Together with Lingen she had a daughter, Ursula Lingen, who also became an actress.
