Juliska Kopácsi started singing at an early age and Franz Liszt heard her sing when she was fifteen years old. She was very successful as Adele in "Die Fledermauss" by Johann Strauss. In 1891 she married Wilhelm Karczag. They had two children, Goerg and Lilian.

From 1891 to 1894 she was engaged at the Volkstheater in Budapest and from 1894 to 1896 at the Carl Theatre in Vienna. She also appeared in Berlin, the USA and Russia.
