The contralto Frances Wilton was the daughter of William Nicholas Wilton and Frances Aiken. Fanny studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London from January 1836 to December 1837. She sang under the name of Miss Fanny Wyndham. After her marriage to Frederick Lablache in 1839 she appeared as Madame Lablache. After her singing career she returned to the Royal Academy as a teacher. She died in 1877 and was buried in the Lablache family mausoleum on Kensal Green Cemetery, London.
