Vania Vilers was the son of a Russian imigrant. He started his film career in 1968 in Drôle de jeu by Pierre Kast and Jean-Daniel Pollet. In 1977 he played the lover of Danièle Delorme in Yves Robert's "Nous irons tous au paradis". He appeared in more than 25 movies and numerous television productions. In 2006 he was the voice of Panoramix in Stefan Fjeldmark's "Astérix et les Vikings". In the summer of 2008 he was hospitalized in Arles and he died in Paris in February 2009. He was buried at Père Lachaise. |
