The German soprano Marie Bartsch-Jonas was engaged at the Hoftheater in Stuttgart (1907-1908), the Stadttheater in Lübeck (1908-1911), the German Theater in Brno (1911-1915), the Opera House in Düsseldorf (1915-1918), the Volksoper in Vienna (1919-1922). In 1919 she appeared in Eugen d'Albert's opera "Die Toten Augen" and in 1920 at the Vienna State Opera in "Tiefland". From 1922 to 1923 she worked again at the Stadttheater in Lübeck (1922-1923). After her opera career she settled in Vienna where she worked as a concert singer.

12/1/1925Marie Bartsch-Jonas performs at the Mozartsaal of the Wienzer Konzerthaus. She was accompanied by Wilhelm Grosz.
