Josef Bezecny studied law at Vienna University and entered into the service of the Ministry of Finance in 1858. From 1878 to 1904 he was governor of Bodenkreditanstalt. He was also active in musical and philanthropical foundations. From 1895 to 1898 he was the artistic director of the Court Opera in Vienna. |
