Maria Minzenti was trained as a ballet dancer. She was engaged at the State Opera in Vienna where she became a ballerina. In 1920 she started acting in movies and in 1921 she played in "Meriota, die Tänzerin". Her career in silent movies was very successful buy she ended her film career when the sound film era started. She continued to work as a dancer and later as a ballet mistress. She made several tours. She als tried her hand on costume design and authorship. In 1973 she died in Vienna. |
