Daughter of French actor Jean-Pierre Aumont and Dominican actress Maria Montez. When she was 17 years old she married film director Christian Marquand (1927-2000). She studied acting under Stella Adler in New York. In 1966 she was in Joseph Losey's "Modesty Blaise" as Tina Marquand. In 1967 she divorced Marquand. During the 1970s she made several movies in Italy. In 1976 she was in "Fellini's Casanova". In 1978 she was arrested in Italy for smuggling 400 grams of opium. She was sentenced to three years in prision but after she appealed her sentence was reduced to nine months. In 2000 she retired from acting. After she suffered a pulmonary embolism she died in 2006 at the age of 60. The actress Marie Trintignant was her niece.
