Marie-Virginie Baltazzi was the third daughter of Theodore Baltazzi and his wife Elizabeth Sarell who lived in Constantinopel. She was baptised in the church of England like her mother. When Bibi, as she was known, was twelve years old her father died and she inherited six million gold francs and other properties. Her mother died three years later. The diplomat Albin Vetsera becmae her guardian and he married her suster Helena in 1864. In Constantinopel she had met Albert Graf St Julien and she married him in Vienna in 1866.

She divorced her first husband and on 5 August 1875 she married Otto Graf von Stockau afterwards. After archduke Franz Ferdinand was assasinated in 1914 she travelled to Paris to help her very ill brother Hector leave France. They travelled to Bordeaux and then Spain and were able to return to Austria. She died in 1927.
