Ilse Vollborn debuted at the Rose Theatre in Berlin when she was nineteen years old. The year after that she married the actor Willi Rose. In 1933 she made her film debut in "Der Jäger aus Kurpfalz". She worked until 1935 for the Rose Theatre and after that she concentrated on films. In 1936 she was in "Donner, Blitz und Sonnenschein" with Karl Valentin and in 1937 in "Gewitterflug zu Claudia" with Willy Fritsch. In 1938 she appeared in "Es leuchten die Sterne" with dancer La Jana. After "Die Frau ohne Vergangenheit" in 1939 she withdrew from the movies and she didn't return. With Willi Rose she had a daughter, Corinne. Their marriage lasted until her death in 1974 in Berlin. Family Husband: Rose, Willi (-1974) |
