Roger Kynaston was the son of the merchant Roger Kynaston (1776-1847) and Georgiana Oakeley, a daughte of Sir Charles Orakeley. He became a first-class cricketer and as player he was active from 1830 to 1854. He served as Jonorary Secretary of Marylebone Cricket Club from 1842 to 1858. In 1851 he married Juliana Browne and he lived with her at 43 Devonshire Street in London. After his active career derived his income from railway shares and other investments. |
