Jefte Sbolci was the founder of the Società Orchestrale Fiorentina that he directed for many years. He also formed the Quartetto Fiorentino together with Giuseppe Bonamici, Bruni Vannucicini and Luigi Vannuccini. Like his father Geremia Sbolci (1803-1878) he also worked as a teacher and Ottavio Di Picolellis was one of his pupils. |
