Alain Mollot was educated at the Université Internationale du Théâtre and at the École Jacques Lecoq. In 1974 he founded the Théâtre de la Jacquerie with a group of actors that he knew from school. He travelled with it through France. In 1985 he settled in Villejuif near Paris with his theatre. By 1992 he worked with a new group of actors that he had taught at the École Jacques Lecoq. Later he was the co-director of the Théâtre Romain-Rolland in Villejuif from 2001 to 2010. |
