The Mezzo-soprano Claire Berg debuted on 16 October 1906 at the Opéra-Comique as Séléne in Erlanger's "Aphrodite". On 10 May 1907 she created the part of Bellangère in "Ariane et Barbe-bleue" by Paul Dukas at the Salle Favart in Paris. She also appeared in premiere of productions of "Iphigénie en Aulide" and "Snegourotchka" and played many other parts. She died in 1945 in Suresnes. |
