Émilienne Dux was born Fanny Deux. Between 1895 and 1914 she performed at various theatres in Paris in pieces by Shakespeare, Molière and others. She was engaged at the Comédie-Française and became its 358th sociétaire in 1920. Her last part there was in "Les Noces d'argens" in 1928. Between 1912 and 1920 she also appeared in a number of silent movies. In 1895 she had a son with the actor Émile Duard, the singer Paul Colline (1885-1991). She married Duard on 22 June 1897. Another son, the actor Pierre Dux, was born in 1908. His father was the actor Alexandre Vargas. She had six children in total. Family Son: Dux, Pierre |
