Alice Seelye Rossi was the daughter of Dr. Thomas Seelye, who directed the Cleveland Watercure Establishment. She married Egisto Rossi *1852-1937), who was vice-general commissioner of emigration under Mussolini. Their son was Italian consul in New Orleans. Three years after her death in Rome in 1934 her pamphlet "Woman of Imperial Italy" was published. In it she praised fascist Italy and described the role of women. |
