Wilhelm Huscke studied medicine in Jena. He was a pupil of Johann Christian Stark and in 1788 he was promoted. From 1792 he was physician to Grand Duke Karl Fredrich and Grand Duke Karl Alexander in Weimar. He also treated Wieland and Herder. He attented Schiller shortly before Schiller's death in 1805, replacing Dr. Stark. The physician Emil Huschke is his son. Related persons was physician to Wieland, Christoph Martin |
