Karl-Heinz Hess debuted at the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern in 1950. He held engagements in Darmstadt, Düsseldorf and Wuppertal before he joined Liesel Christ's Volkstheater in Frankfurt am Main. Hess married Bärbel Christ, Liesel's younger daughter. In 1964 he appeared in the television series "Häfenpolizei". During the rest of his career he worked for the theatre as well as for television. He died suddenly in 1995 and was buried at a grave at the Hauptfriedhof in Frankfurt am Main that was intended for his mother in law Liesel Christ. She died in 1996 and was buried beside him. |
