Regina Delia appeared on the stage from the age of fifteen in Meidling and in Wiener Neustadt. From 1856 to 1857 she appeared in Graz. After an engagement at the Stadttheater in Hamburg she went to the Burgtheater in Vienna in 1858, but she left it after a year. She wernt to Berlin wehere she was successful at the Viktoriatheater. In 1860 she was engaged at the Carl-Theater in Vienna.

In 1862 she married the journalist Max Friedländer and she gave up the stage. He was Jewish and she was protestant. After she refused to give up her religion Friedländer converted to Protestantism. They had four children. Occasionally private performances were held at the home of the Friedländers. She was also the author of several short stories. Her sister was the actress Hermine Delia. He husband died in 1872 and was buried in Silesia. In 1891 his remains were transferred to the Zentralfriedhof in Vienna. After her death in 1894 she was buried there as well.
