Kurt Reimann studied under Ulrich Eberl in Berlin. He debuted at the Berlin State Opera in 1945 in Tchaikovsky's "Eugen Onegin". He worked for the State Opera until 1947. From 1949 to 1952 he was he had a contract with the Berliner Rundfunk. In 1951 he was engaged by Berolina Films and he appeared in several homeland movies like "Grün ist die Heide" (1951). His last movie was "Schwarzwaldmelodie" (1956). He married Marianne Draeger and he died in Berlin in 2001.
