Oswald Rostosky was meant to become a xylographer, but after he moved to Munich he turned to painting. He exhibited his first work in 1862 at the Kunstverein. He mostly painted animals and landscapes. His drawings were published in several magazines. In 1868 he died in Munich from typhus one day after his 29th birthday. |
