Georgia Lind played in theatres in the country before she came to Berlin during the 1920s. Soon she was in several movies, among them "Ja, ja, die Frau'n sind meine schwache Seite" (1929) with Hans Albers.

During the 1930s she performed in the theatre. In 1942 she was married to the actor Rudolf Platte for a short time. After the war she could be heard in radio plays. In 1954 she married Platte again and they were together until her death on 10 Dec 1984. Platte died only eight days later.
