Eduard Wandrey studied acting with Ferdinand Gregori in Berlin. From 1919 onwards he worked in Berlin at the Volksbühne, the Hebbeltheater and the Schillertheater.

In 1938 he made his movie debut and later he performed in productions with Emil Jannings and Horst Buchholz. He had mostly small parts of character parts. He also worked for television and he was the German voice for Fred Flintstone in the series "The Flintstones".
