Dary Holm started her movie career in 1921 in "Die Beute der Erinnyen", after actor Bernd Aldor had recommended her to director Otto Rippert. She appeared in several films before she stood next to Harry Piel in "Auf gefährlichen Spuren" (1924). They cooperated in several more movies and after Harry Piel divorced his first wife Johanna Präder they married in 1927. She appeared in several more movies before she ended her movie career in 1932. The marriage lasted until her death in 1960. She was buried at the Waldfriedhof in Munich, where Harry Piel joined her after his death in 1963. Family Husband: Piel, Harry (1927-1960) |
