Lydia Sinico was the daughter of the composer Giuseppe Sinico (1836-1907). She was known for the sweetness and the freshness of her voice. Her singing career started when she was twenty years old and it lasted for thirty years. After her father's death in 1907 she directed his music school together with her brother Francesco. In 1925 she donated her father's works to the Museo Schmidl. She was married to Guido Hermet, the son of theatre director Francesco Hermet. |
