Marie Sandtnerová was a daughter of the lithograher Otto Sandtner and his wife Josefa Novoveské. She was a teacher at the higher Girls' School in Prague. From 1916 to 1919 she ran a soup kitchen for the City Hall. She wrote many cookbooks known as 'Sandtnerka' and she promoted healthy nutrition. |
