Andrew Berry Archbald studied medicine and natural science in Paris. He was a landowner in Puerto Rico, but he lived in Tuscany for a long time. There he studied the flora near Lucca. He died in Florence in 1881. His grave at the Cimitero degli Inglesi in Bagni di Lucca was restored in 2013 with the help of the Lucchese Historical Institute. |
