Alimondo Ciampi started as an apprentice in a marble workshop in Florence. He studied with the sculptor Antoine Bortone. In 1909 he exhibited at the Biennale in Venice and he would exhibit there five times until 1924. In 1926 he created the Monumento ai caduti (Monument for the Fallen) at the piazza Umberto I in Scandicci. He died in 1939 in Florence. |
