Hans Everding studied at the Art Academy in Kassel under Carl Begas the Younger. He created several sculptures, but he was best known for his memorials and fountains. In 1898 he received a gold medal at the Große Berliner Kunstausstellung. In 1899/1900 he travelled to Italy where stayed at the villa Strohl-Fern in the Borghese Park in Rome. After his return he settled in Kassel. He died there in 1914, aged only 38. |
