Claudio Cassinnelli was the son of the opera singer Antoni Cassinelli (1912-1993). He started his acting career in the theatre, but soon he concentrated on films and television. In 1983 he appeared in "Hercules". He married the film critic Irene Bignardi and they had three children. Their son Giovanni Cassinelli became an actor and a film producer. When he was filming in Arizona for Sergio Martino's "Vendetta dal futuro" the helicopter that transported crashed into Navajo Bridge. Cassinelli and the pilot both died. |
