Sheila Manahan grew up in Dublin, where she debuted at the Abbey theatre. After the Second World War she moved top London. She worked for radio, television and for the movies. She collaberated several times with director Peter Korda. In 1950 she played Ann Willingdon in "Seven Days to Noon" and in 1962 she appeared in "Only Two Can Play" with Peter Sellers. She married the Scottish actor Gordon Mackay and died one year after him in 1988. Actress Anna Manahan (1924-2009) was her cousin. Family Husband: Mackay, Fulton |
