Third wife of the actor Dion Boucicault. She was a young actress in her early twenties when he married her in Sydney, Australia in 1885. He was 62 years old at the time. The marriage was scandalous because he had not formally divorced Agnes Robertson, although he claimed they were never legally married. Boucicault was so happy with Louise that he decided to divorce Agnes. He lost most of his copyrights to finance the divorce. After it was finalised, he married Louise again in New York in 1889. He died in 1890. She married a Mr. Cheney afterwards. In 1901 she appeared in Broadway in "Richard Savage" and in 1902 in "Mrs. Jack".
