Miriam di San Servolo was born Miria Petacci. She was the younger sister of Mussolini's mistress Claretta Petacci. She performed under the names Miriam Day, Miryam Petacci and Miriam Di San Servolo. In 1942 she debuted in "Le vie del cuore" and her next part was in "L'amico delle donne" (1942).

Shortly before fascism collapsed in Italy she emigrated to Spain, where she continued her career. But the movies she made in Spain were never shown in Italy. In 1954 she was in the French-Italian production "Quattro donne nella notte" ("Four Women in the Night"). She also worked as a costume designer for theatrical productions. In 1984 she played herself in "Claretta", a movie about her sister. This was her last fim appearance. She died in poor circumstances after a long illness in Rome in 1991.
