Francine Vendel was a theatre actress with the Compagnie des Galeries. She also appeared in several movies, most notably in "Le Mariage de Mademoiselle Beulemans" (1951). She also worked as an announcer on the Belgian television channel RTBF. In 1998 she was visiting her two diamond trading sons in Congo when she was killed during a burglary. She was buried at the Ixelles Cemetery in Brussels. |
