Sabina Sesselmann was the daughter of a merchant. She studied art history in Berlin and took acting lessons with Hilde Körber at the Reinhardt School. In 1957 she debuted at the theatre of Lübeck and soon she appeared in movies. She is best known for her parts in the Edgar Wallace movies "Das Geheimnis der gelben Narzissen" (1961), and "Die Tür mit den sieben Schlössern" (1962).

In 1964 she married Ernst Henne jr. He was the son of the race car driver Ernst Jakob Henne (1904-2005). After her marriage she ended her career to take care of her family. In 1996 she made an appearance on television in "Soko 5113". Two years later she died of cancer in Tutzing, near her birthplace Munich.
