Known as Antoinetta Pechwell. Daughter of the portrait painter August Joseph Pechwell (1757-1811), who was the inspector of the Saxon picture gallery. The engraver Carl von Pechwell was her uncle. She gave her first concert when she was eleven years old and she studied under Alexander Klengel and Friedrich Dotzauer. When Chopin visited in 1829 he listened to her on August 27 and said she played well. On November 10, 1830 he attended one of her concerts at a soiree at the house of Dr. Kreyssig. In 1831 she married the tenor Ranuzio Pesadori (1800-1871), who had been a singer at the Opera of Dresden since 1825. Francesco Morlacchi was a witness to the marriage. On September 8, 1834 she gave birth to a dead child. Twelve days later she died from meningitis. She was buried at the Alter Katholischer Freidhof in Dresden. Her widower left that city in 1835.
