Opened for burials: 1833 Size: 72 acres Kensal Green Cemetery was founded by George Frederick Carden and inspired by Père Lachaise in Paris. It was the first of the seven garden styled cemeteries in London that are known as the Magnificent Seven. In was consecrated by the Bishop of London on 24 January 1833. |
