Opened for burials: 1894 Size: 33 hectares The Nieuwe Oosterbegraafplaats replaced the (Oude) Oosterbegraafplaats that had been opened in 1866. Part of de Oude Oosterbegraafplaats is now the Oosterpark. The Nieuwe Oosterbegraafplaats was designed by landscape architect Leonard Anthony Springer. In 1994 a crematorium was built. |
