Madeleine Guitty was the daughter of a lawyer in Corbeil. Although she wasn't physically attractive, she started her acting career at the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens when she was eighteen years old. In 1909 she first appeared in a movie and after Louis Feuillade noticed her he made several short films with her. She appeared in many more movies until her death in 1936. |
