Daughter of Tomasso Maris Ippolito Vestris and sister of Gaetano Vestris. She danced in Palermo and Napels before she went to Vienna. After she became the mistress of Prince Paul Esterházy, Maria Theresia transferred her to Dresden. In 1846 she debuted in Paris, where she became the mistress of balletmaster Jean Lany.
