Felice Radicati studied under Gaetano Pugnani. In 1793 he joined the Royal Chapel of Turin. When it was dissolved by the French government he became a concert violinist. Together with his wife, the singer Teresa Bertinotti, he undertook concert tours in Europe.

In 1815 they settled in Bologna, where he became the director of the municipal orchestra and musical director of the Basilika San Petronio. He also taught the violin at the Liceo Musicale. He died in 1823 after a traffic accident involving horses.
