Jean-Marc Debenedetti was fascinated by surrealism. He was a great admirer of the work of Benjamin Péret and organised conferences about him. He founded the student magazine Soror (1972-1975) and his own journal Ellébore (1979-1984). From 1975 to 1988 he participated in the Phases movement. In Paris he taught French literature at the Lycée Janson-de-Sailly. |
