Manuel Dicenta was the son of the dramatist Joaquín Dicenta. He debuted in the theatre next to María Guerrero in "El pobrecito carpintero" when he was nineteen years old. An impressive career in the theatre followed and from 1927 onwards he also appeared in movies. He was a professor at the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático from 1966 to 1970. |
