Lilla Brignone was the daughter of the director Guido Brignone and the actress Lola Visconti. Her mother died in 1924. She debuted on the stage when she was fifteen years old. Between 1930 and 1982 she appeared in forty movies and after the Second World War she was well known from both movie parts and her theatre appearances. She had a long liaison with the acteur Gianni Santuccio (1911-1989). After her death her ashes were buried in the niche at the Cimitero Monumentale al Verano in Rome that already held the ashes of her father. Family • Father: Brignone, Guido |
