Daughter of the actor Samuel Johnson. In 1846 she married the actor John W. Anson in Belfast. They settled in Scotland together with her brother Samuel and other actors. There they started a new company managed by Anson. They appeared in Perth, Dundee, Montrose and Inverness. In 1847 their son George W. Anson was born.
